Copays

Please have your insurance card with you for all appointments.
Patients are required to notify the office of any changes to their insurance or contact information.
If you receive a bill from our office you can pay the bill over the phone by calling our office with your credit card information. Other acceptable payment option include via website portal (coming soon) or by a check (payable to P.R.I.M.A. Inc).

Medical Records
Record Processing Fee
There is a $15.00 processing fee for copying medical records.
Time Frame for Record Processing
We ask 30 days to process all out-going medical records.
Referrals
If you require a referral to a specialist, we require 72 hrs to process the referral.
Vaccinations
We follow the schedule outlined by the Center for Disease prevention (CDC) and American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP). We firmly believe, based on all available literature, evidence, and current studies that vaccines do no cause autism or other developmental disabilities. Vaccines and the vaccine schedule are the results of years and years of scientific studies. We believe that vaccinating children and young adults may be the single most important health promoting intervention we perform as healthcare providers, and that you can perform as parents/caregivers.
After-hours
We have a physician on-call 24 hrs. When our office is closed overnight and you have an urgent issue that cannot wait until the office re-opens, you can call our main number and the provider on-call will give you advice regarding your child's problem. We do not do medication refills after-hours. Please call for prescription refill during normal business hours. All prescription refills will be handled within 48 hours.
New Patients
Welcome! We are happy that you are here!
To register as a new patient, please contact us at 401-333-5201. Before we are able to schedule a first appointment for your child, we require the complete medical record from the patient's previous pediatrician(s). Once we receive your child's records, we will begin the transcription process, which may take up to 2 weeks. Once complete, we will contact you to schedule your child's first appointment. Please visit our Patient Forms page to complete a new patient packet before your first appointment. This will help us expedite the registration process.
Please see our vaccination policy above.
We follow evidence based medicine and try our best to avoid the overuse of antibiotics. We do no prescribe antibiotics over phone as we don't believe its good medicine.
We aim to be your child's primary medical home. We have same day sick appointments available. We think that urgent care should be utilized only when our office is closed or some other compelling reason. If you call us during our office hours, we make our best effort to see your child in the office same day, as we think continuity of care is very important.
